About Christine

Christine grew up in Northern California, where music and the natural world shaped her in equal measure. Long days in the mountains and long hours with a guitar taught her how to listen — to weather, to silence, and to the subtle emotional currents that eventually became her songs. That relationship with nature still runs through her writing, giving her music a sense of spaciousness, tenderness, and quiet power.

Her musical roots are deeply grounded in jazz and vocal performance. As a teenager she was selected for the SFJAZZ High School All-Star Band, and she went on to study jazz performance and music industry at the University of Southern California. Along the way she has performed with jazz, bluegrass, and soul bands, and spent years writing, recording, and touring her own original music. Her debut album, Time Machine, captures the songs she wrote throughout her twenties — a reflection on growth, memory, and the many versions of ourselves we become.

In recent years, Christine stepped back from releasing music to study the inner landscape more closely, completing her training as a psychotherapist. That time deepened her relationship with listening, emotion, and human story — and now, with Time Machine behind her, she has returned to songwriting with a renewed sense of clarity and intention. She is currently working on her next collection of songs, shaped by everything she has learned about what it means to feel, to heal, and to be alive.

Beyond music, Christine’s life is shaped by movement, mindfulness, and a deep curiosity about the human experience. Whether skiing high in the mountains, teaching yoga, or sitting with someone in conversation, she returns again and again to the same place: presence — a sensibility that quietly infuses the songs she writes.
